Finally my first edition of “eBay Auction Bargains”. This will be (hopefully) my weekly post with my latest eBay findings. Rather than usual “but it now” listings, I will only post the auction listings that will finish within a week or so. I’m a massive fan of eBay and as mentioned before, most of my own kit came from eBay, even my own 5D, so I know how great these actions can be. From my own experience final price of action listings is usually lower than it is of “buy it now” listings, because a lot of people can’t wait for the end of auction and happy to pay a bit more to have the desired item as soon as they can. So let me show you what I found today.
I’ve noticed this UK shop some time ago: cinegearpro. They seem to have some £0.99 auctions every week, I’m guessing to attract more people to their store, but I don’t care as long as me or you can take advantage of these auctions. Most of the stuff they sell is identical to items usually found in Chinese eBay shops, but if you are in UK or UE, you will definitely won’t have to pay any customs charges, which is a big advantage. Postage cost to UK are obviously the best, but international postage costs are quite good too, so worth checking out even if you’re not in UK. The cheapest item I found in this shop was the LVF-32 LCD Viewfinder for 550D/600D/60D, at the time of writing just £3.20, so worth checking out, might be a great deal. Auction ending in 2 days.

Second item is a DSLR Shooter Rig from a different shop avextra-co-uk, not really camera orientated shop, so not much to say here. The rig though looks quite nice, especially good for run&gun setup. Just £10.50 at the time of writing. Auction ending in less than 2 days.

Third is DSLR Shoulder Rig + Matte Box from greatfoto. No where near the best shoulder rig on the market and also very basic matte box, but at $163.90/£103 is not such a bad start, add one of cheaper Follow Focuses for under £100 and you’ve got your self a full shoulder rig for £200. Could be a decent setup if you are just starting out with your video productions. No bids at the time of writing and less than 2 days left till the end of auction.

Forth item today is another DSLR Shoulder Rig + Follow Focus from pell678, one of the shops dedicated to Budget Filmmaking Gear, like shoulder rigs, matte boxes, follow focuses. I never bought anything from them, so don’t know if their stuff is any good, but the shoulder rig and follow focus look quite decent especially at the current price £138 at the time or writing. The follow focus comes with some lens gears and speed crank which also adds value for money. The auction ends in less than 2 days.
